proof of the purchase date in the form of a receipt, to the relevant customer care centre. Radio Systems®
Corporation retain the right to request the return of this Product at any stage in the claims procedure
but the Product itself is not required on fi rst notifi cation of any claim unless specifi cally requested by
a customer care specialist.
PLEASE NOTE that it is essential that the letter of claim reaches the relevant customer care centre
address by the last day of this Warranty at the latest. Late claims will not be considered. This Warranty
applies to all goods purchased from an authorised retailer of Radio Systems® Corporation within the
country of the relevant customer care centre referred to in clause 1 of this Warranty. This Warranty
does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out above and does not cover any claims
for consequential loss or damage including (but not limited to) accidental damage, misuse, neglect,
alteration and lightning damage to in-ground pet fencing systems. To the fullest extent permissible by
law, the purchaser assumes all risks and liabilities from the use of this Product. This Warranty is off ered
as an extra benefi t and does not aff ect your statutory rights as a consumer. Additional written copies
of this Warranty can be obtained by writing to the relevant customer care address given under the
heading “Claims Procedure”. Please include a stamped and self addressed envelope for each copy of
the Warranty requested. This Warranty is governed by the laws of England and Wales and applies to all
Products purchased on or after January 1, 2009.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with relevant EU Electromagnetic
Compatibility, Low Voltage and R&TTE Directives. Before using this equipment outside the
EU countries, check with the relevant local R&TTE authority. Unauthorized changes or modifi
cations to the equipment that are not approved by Radio Systems® Corporation are in violation of EU
R&TTE regulations, could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment, and void the warranty.

Canadian Compliance
The frequency of operation for this device is 916.5 MHz. The fi eld strength is 43.8 dBμV/m @ 3m.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause interference and (2)
This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation
of the device. Modifi cations or changes could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment. This
Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003.

This device complies with the applicable EMC requirements specifi ed by the ACMA Australian
Communications and Media Authority.
Separate collection of spent batteries is required in many regions; check the regulations in your
area before discarding spent batteries. Please see pages 3 and 4 for instructions on how to
remove the battery from the product for separate disposal.
This device operates on 1 battery of the type alkaline with 6 Volt capacity, replace only with
equivalent battery.
Please respect the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment regulations in your country. This
equipment must be recycled. If you no longer require this equipment, do not place it in the
normal municipal waste system. Please return it to where it was purchased in order that it can be
