OPERATION
1. Using the Day/Night Adapter:
Note:
You will be unable to place the daylight cover back onto the front of
the NVD.
a. Remove the Adaptor and bushings (set of 7) from protective wrapping.
b. Estimate the size of the eyepiece diameter (in mm) and insert that bushing into the NVD mount portion of the
adaptor (Fig. 1.2)
c. Loosen the eyepiece thumbscrew (Fig. 1.3) as far as it will go and place the adaptor onto the eyepiece as shown
(Fig. 1.2).
d. The end of the eyepiece mount should grab at least a ¼ in of the end of the day/rifle scope to be securely
mounted. Tighten the eyepiece thumbscrew (Fig. 1.3).
e. Remove the daylight cover from your MiNi-14 and insert it into the adapter. Squeeze the spring loaded tabs (Fig.
1.5) to secure the MiNi-14 housing to lock into place.
f. Turn on the device. Adjust the objective focus (if applicable) first and then the eyepiece diopter for the best view.
g. If needed, during periods of very low ambient light, an Infrared Illuminator can be mounted to the weaver base
(Fig. 1.6).
