4.2 Operation with other air supplies
The set of transition pieces (Order No. 1600 0125 01) with the follo-
wing adapters is available for operation with other air supplies:

1. Truck compressed air connection, 2-way brake system.
For extracting air from the trailer coupling head.
2. Blind coupling
Closes the control line of the brake system.
Remember!
Ensure the truck does not roll away by using brake
blocks!
3. Truck tyre inflation device adapter
For extracting air from the tyre inflation bottle in the area of
the braking device.
Remember!
As a standard, the tyre inflation connection must be
protected by a safety valve (blow-off pressure: approx.
7.5 bar/108.8 psi)!
4. Truck tyre valve
For inflation with any other air source for inflation of tyres.
5. Truck tyre valve connection, can be clamped.
For air extraction from the spare tyre.
