Chapter 5. Clearing Paper Jams

Remove the jammed paper from inside the document
recorder.

■ If a paper jam occurs at the beginning of scanning:

If a paper jam occurs at the end of scanning:

NOTE

Do not unnecessarily tug on the jammed paper. Remove it
carefully. If the paper becomes ripped, be sure to remove any
remaining paper scraps in the document recorder.

Grasp the top of the document feeder and push it down
gently into the original position.

Push down on top of the document feeder until you hear it
lock into the closed position.

NOTE

After the problem is resolved, confirm that the last page was
recorded before continuing.
