The Double overlock stitch has three main

for overcasting, and for seaming and
overcasting in one operation. It is primarily
used on slightly stretch fabrics and non-
stretch fabrics such as linen, tweed, and
medium to heavy-weight cotton.
DOUBLE OVERLOCK STITCH
Useful for decorative stitching on borders
a n d f o r u s e i n h e i r l o o m s e w i n g . T h e
Entredeux stitch is most often sewn with
a Wing Needle (SINGER Style 2040) to
create holes in the stitch pattern.
Used primarily for decorative machine
stitching.
Helpful Hint: A slight + adjustment of
the tension will increase the size of the
hole when using a Wing Needle.
CRISS-CROSS STITCH
ENTREDEUX STITCH
Utile pour la couture décorative de bordures et
pour une couture à l’ancienne. Le point entredeux
est le plus souvent cousu à l’aide d’une aiguille
sabre (Style SINGER 2040) pour créer des trous
dans le motif du point.
Utilisez principalement pour coudre des points
décoratifs à la machine.
Conseil utile: un léger ajustement + de la
tension augmente la taille du trou lorsqu’une
aiguille sabre est utilisée.

Le point surjet double a trois utilités principales.
Il est parfait pour l'application d'élastique à plat,
pour surjeter et pour coudre et surjeter en une seule
opération. Il est principalement utilisé sur des tissus
légèrement extensibles ou non extensibles, tel des
drap, du tweed et du coton moyen ou épais.
