TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Should you experience difficulties in the use of this player please refer to the following chart.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Clean your unit with a damp (never wet) cloth. Solvent or detergent should never be used.

Avoid leaving your unit in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.

Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps or
motors.

If dropouts or interruptions occur in the music during CD play, or if the CD fails to play at all, its bottom surface
may require cleaning. Before playing, wipe the disc from the center outwards with a good soft cleaning cloth.

PROBLEM

· The unit is disconnected from

the AC outlet

· Connect to an outlet.

· The AC outlet has no power

· Try the unit on another outlet

· The AC outlet is controlled by a

wall switch

· Do not use an outlet that is

controlled by a wall switch

There is no display
and the unit will not
play

· Weak batteries

· Replace with fresh batteries

AM: Weak on distant stations

· Rotate the cabinet for better

reception

Poor AM or FM
reception

FM: Telescopic Antenna not
extended

· Extend Telescopic Antenna

Unit ON but there
is low or no volume

· The volume Control has been

turned all the way down

· Turn the volume control to a higher

output

· Dirty or scratched discs

· Check the bottom of the disc and

clean it necessary with a soft
cleaning cloth, always wipe from the
center out

CD skip while
playing

· Dirty lens

· Clean with a commercially available

lens cleaner
