To Close Gate: The walk through door
will automatically close by itself and the lock
will re-engage. Test the gate door from both
directions. If the gate is lined up properly the
door will close automatically, confirmed with
and audible “click”. If it closes from one side
and not the other, it means that the gate is
tilted towards the side that it will NOT close
from. When this is the case, loosen the top
spindles and straighten the gate in the
doorway; tighten the spindles and test again.
Continue to test until gate door automatically
closes from both sides. Now the gate is in
proper working order.

Hold Open Button (l) - This button is
located in the middle of the hinge top. By
pressing down on it while the door is in its
most open position, it will hold the door
open until it is pushed closed.

Installation Aid - KidCo has available
OPTIONAL Y-Spindles (model GY-1) to
assist in installation when the mounting
surface has a round baluster. These spindles
are used in place of the spindles included
with the basic gate. They may be ordered
through a local KidCo dealer or direct from
KidCo. Remove handwheel from gate spindle
nut and attach to Y spindle nut before
installing Y spindle into gate end.

Cierre la puerta de acceso de manera
que quede alineada directamente sobre el
riel inferior de la reja. Retire el eje superior
(a) del lado de la bisagra (h) hasta que
toque la superficie de montaje. Apriete la
ruedecilla HACIA EL MARCO DE LA REJA.

Saque el eje superior (a) del lado del
asa hasta que toque la superficie de
montaje y apriete la ruedecilla HACIA EL
BASTIDOR DE LA REJA. Apriete ambos
ejes superiores, de manera alterna, hasta
que queden apretados y la distancia entre
el asa y el bastidor de la reja sea de

Para abrir la reja: Jale hacia atrás el
pulsador de liberación (j) del asa. Levante
la puerta de la reja y ábrala.
