the hot styling plates getting close to combustible material and into contact with
the power cable. Put the appliance away only when it is completely cold.
Practical advice for hair styling
Straight hair: put a section of hair around 4cm-5cm wide between the styling plates.
Close the appliance, move it slowly from the root of the hair to the ends, then open it.
Allow between 5 and 8 seconds for straightening thinner hair; thicker hair will take 10-15
seconds.
Softly twisting locks of hair: put a section of hair around 4cm-5cm wide between
the styling plates. Follow the advice above but also turn the appliance while moving it
through your hair.
Outward ‚flicks’: put a section of hair between the styling plates, keeping the plates as
near the roots as possible. Grip the hair and move the appliance from the root of the hair
to the ends, turning the styling plates outwards as you reach the ends.
Inward ‚bobs’: put a section of hair between the styling plates, keeping the plates as
near the roots as possible. Grip the hair and move the device from the root of the hair to
the ends, turning the styling plates inwards as you reach the ends.
Attention! The appliance has swivel cable connector so never let the cable
twist during use! The appliance is not suitable to roll ringlets.
Do not brush or comb your hair immediately after styling. Wait until your
hair cools down, otherwise the styling effect will be reduced or lost.
POWER SUPPLY
The appliance must only be connected to mains electricity of 230V and
50Hz. Always ensure the mains voltage where you’re using the appliance
corresponds to the value shown on the nameplate of the appliance.
USING OF APPLIANCE
Before use
• Unpack the appliance and remove all the packing materials.
• Carefully check the appliance to ensure it is complete and undamaged. You should
only use the appliance if it is complete and has not suffered any damage.
The use of the hair styling appliance
1. Connect the hair styling appliance to the mains. After turning the appliance on the
lamp indicating the heating (2) will light up. After that be careful to hold the handle
only and not touch the ceramic styling plates.
2. After the appliance has been connected to the mains the temperature of the styling
plates will increase in a few minutes to a level where hair styling can begin.
Warning! If you need to put the appliance down for a moment
when using it, always place it on a heat-resistant surface and
make sure there is no flammable material nearby. Pay attention
to where you place the appliance and never leave it unattended
during use.
3. When you have finished styling unplug the appliance from the mains. Put the hair
styling appliance on a heat resistant surface until it cools down completely. Avoid
