USING OF APPLIANCE
Before use
•
Unpack the appliance and remove all the packing materials.
•
Carefully check the appliance to ensure it is complete and undamaged. You should only use the appliance if it
is complete and has not suffered any damage.
Use of hair styler
1. Connect the stylers to the cigar lighter socket and switch them on with the slider switch (4). The heating
control lamp (2) illuminates. Once the stylers are turned on, take care to hold only the grip. Do not touch
styling plates, even inadvertently!
2. Once the stylers have been turned on, the styling plates heat up to enable hair styling. (The plates heat up to
a maximum temperature of approximately 210°C.)
Warning! If you have to put the stylers down whilst they are turned on, make sure they are placed
onto a heat-resistant surface and ensure there are no flammable substances nearby. Make sure
the stylers are stable, and can’t overturn or roll.
•
The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage that results from overuse, incorrect operation, incorrect
maintenance, neglecting the information given in the instruction manual or normal wear and tear. In
addition, the manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by any parts of the appliance breaking or
cracking.
•
Warning! When the stylers are plugged into the mains power supply, unplug them after each use even if you
only stop using them for just a short time. Before unplugging them, turn off the power supply at the mains
switch; you can then remove the plug from the socket.
•
Unplug the device from the mains power supply after each use or before cleaning. Never remove the plug
from the mains power supply by pulling the cable! Before unplugging, turn off the power supply at the mains
switch.
•
Never wind the power cable around the stylers for storage purposes. Do not pull or lift the stylers by the
cable, as this may result in the cable becoming detached or damage to the insulation. Should the cable
insulation become damaged, it should be replaced professionally. Do not use the device if the cable is
defective.
•
Warning! The dismantling of the device or its cover is prohibited. Repairs should be carried out by qualified
personnel only. Failure to observe these rules may result in serious injury. None of the styler’s components
are user-serviceable or suitable for alternative use. Never use the stylers with a damaged power cable or plug,
if they are operating in an unusual manner, or have been dropped down or damaged in any other way. If the
stylers stop working, or if liquid gets inside, diagnosis and repair should be carried out by qualified personnel
only. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage if repair is attempted by non-qualified personnel, or if
the instructions in the user’s manual are not followed.
When using the stylers, if you want to put them down for even the shortest time, they must be
unplugged from the power supply to ensure safety. The only time the stylers should be placed on
a surface is when they are first heating up. In this case, ensure that the surface is stable and heat
resistant, and that the stylers cannot turn over or drop down. Do not leave the stylers alone while
they are heating up or operating at full temperature. After use, unplug the stylers from the power
supply and remain with them until they have cooled down completely.
•
Do not cover the appliance with anything when it is switched on or when it is cooling down.
•
The stylers should never be pulled, lifted or carried by their cable. Make sure the stylers are not dropped, as
this can result in the styling plates breaking or cracking. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover damage
caused by the stylers being dropped or mis-used in any way.
•
Take care not to let any aerosol spray inside the appliance.
•
Warning! The styling plates will become very hot during use. To avoid burns, do not touch these parts or
allow them to touch the scalp during use.
•
This appliance is only for styling human hair. It must not be used on animal hair or artificial hair.
