INsTaLLING THe appLIaNCe

Before use

1. Unpack the appliance and remove all the packing materials.

2. Inspect the appliance and the accessories carefully to verify their soundness and undamaged condition. Only

perfectly sound and damage-free appliances may be connected to the electrical mains.

3. Choose a location for the appliance as outlined in „Important safety information”. Have the appliance fixed to

the wall by a competent tradesperson.

4. When fitting the device on the wall, the fixing support should be mounted at least 1.8 metres from the floor.

Once fitted, the appliance must be a safe distance from any inflammable objects and in a place where it is not
subject to water splashing. Installation must only be performed by a qualified electrician with the appropriate
tools and expertise, and only when the appliance is disconnected from the mains supply.

The fixing support of the appliance must be removed and fixed to the wall using the 4 fixing holes on its back

cover. Remove the support by removing the two screws that fix it to the appliance. Please use the supplied
fittings (screws and wall plugs attached to the packaging) to fix the device to the wall. Please ensure, when
installing the device, that there are no electrical wall sockets directly above or below the appliance.

poWer sUppLy

The device can only be connected to an electrical supply of 230V aC, 50Hz, with a

protective earth contact. always check that the mains supply matches that indicated on

the data plate of the appliance.

UsING of appLIaNCe

1. Connect the mains cable of the heat radiator to a 3 pin wall socket, provided with a protecting earth contact,

or to an extension cable of the correct current rating.

2. To operate the appliance, gently pull the cord downwards. By repeatedly pulling the cord you can switch

between different heat settings:

0 - switched off.
1 - 600W setting, the lower element is on.
2 - 1200W setting, both elements are on.
On the 3rd pull, the device switches off again.

3. Once the appiance is fixed to the wall, the heating elements can be tilted up and down by an angle of 25° to

the wall surface.

Always use the following guidelines when adjusting the tilt angle of the heating elements:

• Always switch off the appliance before carrying out any adjustments to the tilt angle. To completely

disconnect the appliance, always pull out the mains plug from the wall socket, after first switching off.

• Always use two hands to make any adjustments, so that you can grip the insulated plastic units at either end

of the heating element cover. Always wait for the appliance to cool down completely before adjustment.

• After adjusting the position of the heating elements, always ensure that there is at least 1 metre distance

between the appliance and any inflammable objects, taking all possible occurences and changing conditions
into account.

4. When you have finished using the appliance, switch it to „0” using the pull cord, then remove the mains plug

from the wall socket. You should only touch the heat radiator, when you have switched off and disconnected
the appliance, and waited for the heating elements to cool down.

maINTeNaNCe aNd CLeaNING

Warning! always switch off the appliance, remove the mains plug from the wall socket,

and wait for the appliance to completely cool down before cleaning.

1. Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned

surfaces with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the appliance dry
completely before re-using or storing it.

2. When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve the

casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with coarse
or grinding effect.
