The following safety instructions must be followed when using the appliance. Please read this section
very carefully!
Of course, it’s not possible for us to anticipate or provide safety rules for every specific situation, so
we ask you to apply commonsense precautions when using the appliance in a situation that isn’t
described below.
• This appliance has been designed for household use only, no other (heavy duty) uses are permitted.
• This appliance is intended for occasional use, as supplementary heating within internal spaces. Consequently,
continuous operation, outdoor installation, or use for industrial purposes is prohibited!
The device must be fitted and installed professionally before use. Please read the section „Installing the
appliance” for installation information.
Installation of the appliance should only be carried out by a qualified electrician with appropriate tools and
qualifications for performing the task.
It is prohibited to place the heating appliance directly below the mains socket!
To prevent any risk of fire due to accidental covering of the appliance, or incorrect location, this
appliance must not be used with either a program switch or timer that would automatically
switch on the heater.
Warning! Never leave your home - even for a short time - with the appliance turned on
(connected to the mains)!
When the appliance is no longer in use always turn it off and then remove the electric
cable from the socket of the power supply (mains) or the extension cable.
Warning: the appliance must never be covered when it is connected to the mains, even if
the connection is switched off. Blocking the flow of air may cause overheating and a risk of
fire. Never dry any clothes or other fabrics on the appliance.
• This device is not supposed to be used by physically or mentally handicapped people, or persons without
experience or knowledge (including children, as well), unless such a person supervises or guides their use of

the age of 14, not even with supervision!

• Care must be taken to ensure that no water could splash on the appliance, and no moisture could get inside
the cover. The appliance must not be placed near to or above a shower, bath or pool, or in any place where
there is a risk of water splashing on it.
In cases where water does come in contact with the appliance, immediately switch it off and disconnect it
from the mains by removing the mains plug from the wall socket. Have the appliance checked by a qualified
person.
Never try to switch the device on or off, or remove the mains plug with wet hands.
• The wall heater may only be used when fixed to a wall. Installation of the appliance must only be performed
by a qualified electrician, and only when the appliance is disconnected from the mains supply. The appliance
should be placed in such a position and at such a height on the wall, that it does not become an obstacle. A
position must be chosen where the risk of accidental contact is prevented during use. When heated up, the
front cover of the device could cause a serious burn injury.
• The switch is operated with a pull cord, and the fixed height of the appliance must be chosen so that the cord
is just reachable. Please make sure that the appliance is not mounted near to any furniture or curtains, and
that no door opens on to it.
