MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Warning! Before you clean the appliance it must be switched off and the mains plug
must be removed from the wall socket.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down completely before you start cleaning it.

1. The oven should be cleaned after every use.

2. Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned surfaces

with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the appliance dry
completely before re-using or storing it.

3. When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve

the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with
coarse or grinding effect.

4. If you have used a tray in the oven, remember to clean it after use. Wash it carefully in warm water with

washing-up liquid. Do not use a brush or any kind of scouring pad as this may scratch the metal and cause it
to rust. After washing the tray, dry it with a soft cloth.

5. Wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth, then immediately wipe the surfaces again with a dry cloth.

Return the clean, dry oven tray to its place. Do not touch the heating elements (embedded in quartz tubes)
with your fingers or with any other material as this could break them. Using an oven tray will prevent the
lower heating element from becoming contaminated during cooking.

6. The appliance should only be packed away for storage if it has cooled down completely.

7. If you do not wish to use the appliance for a while, put it in a plastic bag and store it in a dry, dust-free, frost-

free place.
