surfaces can then be wiped with a dry lint-free cloth. Take special care not to allow any moisture inside the
cover of the appliance and the attachments. Let the appliance dry completely before re-using or storing it.

Wash the bowl, chopping knife, beating attachment and mixing stick in water containing soft, neutral dish-
washing liquid, and then rinse it under running water. Before packing let it dry completely.
•
When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve
the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with
coarse or grinding effect.
•
No part of the appliance or its accessories should be cleaned in a dishwasher.
•
Never remove the casing or dismantle the iron.
•
If the appliance will not be used for a longer time, after cleaning put it in a nylon bag and store it in a dust,
humidity and frost free storage place. Do not wind the power cord around the appliance not even for storage,
because bending could break or weaken the insulation of the power cord.

The appliance is factory lubricated so it does not require any additional lubrication. No maintenance apart
from cleaning is necessary. Repair, if necessary must only be performed by a specialist service centre.

Locate the lid of the attachment on the bowl so that its three edges fit into the three recesses on the lid, and
then rotate the lid clockwise to fasten it to the bowl. If necessary, rotate the knife to ensure that the lid of the
attachment and the shaft of the chopping knife are accurately aligned. If the lid is at an angle to the mixing
bowl then the transmission shaft and the chopping knife are not aligned properly. If so, slightly modify the
position of the knife and rotate it in the mixing bowl, and then repeat the lid fitting.

Locate the unplugged motor unit on the chopping attachment lid and then rotate it clockwise until the
bayonet lock secures the attachment tightly to the base.

Then plug the appliance mains cable into the wall socket and turn it on using the operating buttons. During
operation, always put your hand on the lid to ensure it remains fastened to the motor unit bowl, avoiding
possible consequences of vibration.

When disassembling, after unplugging remove the basic unit from the attachment by turning it
counterclockwise. Then you can remove the lid of the attachment from the bowl, by also turning it
counterclockwise.

The device has been designed for intermittent operation. The product may be continuously operated for
maximum 1 minute when using any of using any of the attachments. The given operating periods must
be followed by a cool down period of 10 minutes. In case you mix or chop more dense materials than the
average, please reduce the duration of operation. When using the chopping attachment it is advised not to
press the operating buttons continuously, but intermittently, thus you can achieve more efficient chopping.
During shutdown the mains plug of the device must be always unplugged from the wall socket. Neglecting
of the stipulations for this cool down period, may damage the device and is considered as unprofessional
treatment.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Warning! Before you clean the appliance it must be switched off and the mains plug must be
removed from the wall socket.
It is essential not to immerse the handle unit containing the motor, the upper element of the
beating attachment or the chopper lid in water and to keep all these components away from
running water.
