into contact with higher temperature food; the manufacturer shall not be liable for appliances damaged
under these circumstances.

We recommend you clean the appliance and the attachments immediately after use.

Some plants (for example carrots) contain natural colours which might cause staining of plastic parts. This
won’t have any effect on the usability of the appliance.

Never immerse the motor unit, the lid of the chopper or the upper part of the beater attachment in water.
Keep all components away from running water.

No part of the appliance or its accessories should be cleaned in a dishwasher.

Dear Customer,

All electrical and mechanical equipment needs to be cared for appropriately. It’s important to
note that using or storing the appliance in certain conditions may adversely affect its lifespan and
functionality. Always protect the appliance from the conditions listed below.

Using or storing the appliance in a wet, humid or damp environment can cause:

- deterioration and premature aging of the cover and electric insulation of the appliance,
- premature wearing and aging of the plastic and rubber components,
- rust and corrosion affecting electrical components and metal parts.

Using the appliance in a dusty environment or in the kitchen (where the air may be contaminated
with vapours from cooking oil or grease) can cause:

- greasy dust coatings on the mechanical and electrical elements and the casing of the appliance,

which could result in electrical contact failure or even complete breakdown, and could also
damage the plastic and rubber elements.

The effects of direct sunlight on the appliance can include:

- accelerated deterioration of the appliance casing and its plastic and rubber components,

damage to strength and other structural features. The appliance’s surface may become porous
and fragile, which may result in a safety risk.

Continuous heavy duty use may cause:

- premature structural wear and tear and premature aging of the motor due to extensive use of

the appliance, resulting from wear and tear and overheating due to continuous use.

Storing the appliance in cold or frosty environment may cause:

- damage to the plastic and rubber components; if they become fragile, this may result

in a safety risk.

- oxidation resulting from condensation, and corrosion of the metal components.

Attention! The appliance and its accessories cannot be washed in a dishwasher. For cleaning read
the chapter “Maintenance and cleaning”.

Attention! The blades of the appliance are very sharp and rotate at high speed. They can cause
severe injuries if not used according to the instructions. Never operate the hand blender without
attaching the blending, beating, or chopping attachment or with the blades turning in the air
(without being immersed in food). Never point the mixing stick of the appliance towards others
standing nearby even when it is turned off. Never touch the moving parts.

To prevent accident hazard and damage to the blender, keep your hands, clothing and other
kitchen appliances away from its moving parts. Do not wear loose clothing, chains, bracelets or
other jewellery during work. Wear a scarf or cap to retain your hair while using the appliance.

To avoid spattering food from the bowl, always turn on the appliance with the attachment used
immersed in the food within the mixing bowl.

Never use the appliance mixing stick for processing solid foods. This attachment can only be used
for processing liquid foods (fluids, creams, sauces, dips, etc.). Make sure that during use the food
to be processed covers the wider part of the mixing stick. Never use the hand blender to crush ice
cubes or prepare ice slush!

Do not attempt to crush ice using this device!

The mixing bowl should never be filled above the 750 millilitre marking on its side, or in excess of the
maximum quantities specified for each type of food.

Attention! The total volume of food ingredients in the bowl of the chopping attachment -
including any liquid ingredients - must not exceed the 750 ml mark on the side of the bowl
(information about the volumes of solid ingredients which can be put in the bowl at the same
time is included in the section - using the chopping attachment). This condition should be met so
that the volume of liquid added to the solid ingredients does not exceed 200 ml.

Attention! The cutting edges of the knife are very sharp, and can cause injury, please take special care when
removing the cutting knife from the bowl and when emptying or cleaning it.

• Attention!

The chopping unit is not capable of blending liquids, so please never pour liquid into the mixing bowl even if
it contains solid food. For such kitchen tasks use a blending appliance specifically designed for this purpose,
or use the mixing stick.

Be especially careful when mixing warm liquids or food because liquid spilled accidentally presents a scalding
hazard. When blending hot food, always remove the dish containing the food from the hob before starting
work. Avoid mixing food hotter than 60 °C, as the appliance could be damaged if the attachment comes
