Never lay the mains cable beside or across sharp edges or hot surfaces. Never wrap the mains cable around
the cover of the appliance, do not pull the cable and do not lift the appliance with the mains cable because
the cable can break or the insulation can be damaged. A damaged cable must be replaced by a specialist
engineer. The appliance must not be used or connected to a wall socket if the cable is damaged.

Don't put the appliance near hot objects (e.g. oven, hob, heating appliance etc.) or on any hot surface.
Don’t place the appliance anywhere it could slide down, fall or be knocked off accidentally.
Never let the hand blender rest on the head of the stainless steel blending attachment as this position is
unstable.

Do not touch the appliance with moist hands. Plug the appliance into the mains with dry hands only, and
check that the appliance casing, power cord and mains plug as well as the mains socket are dry. If any
moisture penetrates the appliance casing, stop using it immediately and take it to a specialist repair centre
for checking or repair.

The blender’s operating buttons require continuous pressure during use. The motor stops immediately they
are released.

Always ensure that the appliance cannot slip from any surface where it is placed while not in use. Ensure that
it cannot fall into the sink or any other vessel containing liquid.
Should the appliance fall into any kind of liquid during operation do not grasp it, first disconnect it from the
mains and only remove it from the liquid when the power has been disconnected. Take it to a specialist
engineer for checking and repair.

Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that the stainless steel attachment is properly mounted
and locked. Only connect fully assembled appliances to the mains. Never remove the attachment while the
blender is connected to the mains. Before removing the attachment, ensure the motor has stopped
completely and that the power cable is unplugged from the mains.

Do not allow anything to fall into the appliance and do not push anything into the opening of the appliance
as the appliance could be damaged and could cause electrical shock.

Don't use the appliance in the presence of explosive or inflammable gases, vapours or liquids.

Avoid using the appliance where it would be subjected to very high or low temperatures, jarring or vibration.
Do not use it in a wet or damp environment. The appliance can be operated and stored at temperatures
between +5 and +40°C.

The appliance and its accessories cannot be washed in a dishwasher. For cleaning read the chapter
"Maintenance and cleaning".

The blade of the stainless steel attachment is extremely sharp and rotates at high speed; it can
cause severe injuries if not used as instructed. Never operate the hand blender unless the blending
attachment is attached and the blade is immersed in food. Never point the blending attachment
or blade towards nearby people, even if the appliance is disconnected! Never touch moving parts.

This appliance is designed for household use only. It is not intended for heavy duty,
catering kitchen or other uses.

Never use the appliance outdoors.

Attention!
Whenever it is not in use, or it is put down during blending activity, the hand blender should for
safety be unplugged from the mains or extension cable power socket.

This device is not supposed to be used by physically or mentally handicapped people, or persons without
experience or knowledge (including children, as well), unless such a person supervises or guides their use of
the device, who is at the same time responsible for their safety. As for children, supervision is recommended
to make sure that they do not play with the device. This device is not supposed to be used by children under
the age of 14, not even with supervision!

Only operate the appliance on a flat, stable surface and ensure that it cannot slide. If the appliance does drop
into liquid or becomes wet, do not touch it until you have removed its mains plug from the wall power socket.
Have the appliance checked and repaired by an approved repair specialist before applying power again.

To avoid electric shock, ensure the handle grip, which houses the motor, power cable and plug are not
immersed in water or any other liquid.

You must not attach or otherwise use any additional parts that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
Using them may cause an accident or other problems with the appliance.
