Problem Possible Causes Solutions
Not dispense
water
■ New installation.
■ Freezer door is not closed
completely.
■ Refrigerator Is not connected
to a water supply and the
supply shutoff valve is not
turned on.
■ The water pressure is not
more than 20 psi.
■ Home filter or reverse osmosis
system is used.
■ The display is not set properly
for water to come out.
■ Water filter need to be
changed.
■ Flush and fill the water system.
■ If any door is not closed completely, the ice is never
dispensed.
■ Connect refrigerator to water supply and turn water
shutoff valve fully open.
■ The water pressure to the home determines the flow
from the dispenser.
■ This can decrease water pressure. It is
recommended to remove reverse osmosis for
normal operation of water dispenser.
■ Look on the right side of the display to see if the
display lock is engaged. If locked, it will not
dispense. Unlock the dispenser, if necessary.
■ The filter should be changed every 6 months or
more often depending on usage. The filter can get
buildup of foreign particles and slow the water
pressure.
Water is leaking
from the
dispenser.

drops of water after

■ Glass was not being held
under the dispenser long
enough.
■ New installation.
■ Recently water filter was
changed.
■ Hold the glass under the dispenser 2 to 3 seconds
after releasing the dispenser lever.
■ Flush and fill the water system.
