Choosing the
power sources

You can use the AC power,
batteries or the car battery as a
power source.

Note

Use only the supplied
AC power adaptor
(AC-CD980). Do not
use any other AC
power adaptor.

Polarity of the plug

Q Inserting the back-up batteries

Insert four size AA (R6) batteries (not supplied) into
the battery compartment. These batteries work to save
the memory data.

Connecting the AC power adaptor

Insert one end of the supplied AC power adaptor (AC-
CD980) to the DC IN 9 V socket located on the side of
the player, and the other end to the wall outlet.
