Armed protection
When armed, your vehicle is protected as follows:
z If a door is opened, the system will immediately start sound-
ing the siren and flashing the indicator lights.
z By turning on the ignition the siren pulses and the indicator
lights flash. Three seconds later the siren sound changes to
a continuous blast. This progressive response gives you time
to disarm the system using the Valet switch.
z If equipped, the starter interrupt prevents the vehicle’s
starter from cranking.
z If the Ultrasonic sensors detect interior movement, the sys-
tem will immediately start sounding the siren and flashing
the indicator lights.
nnoottee:: The vehicle may already be equipped with a starter
interrupt relay from the factory.
