Expansion Card Tab
Removing The Expansion Card
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
2. Remove the Cover .
3. Push the release tab on the card-retention latch outward.
4. Gently pull the release lever away from the PCIe x16 card until you release the
securing tab from the dent in the card. Then, ease the card up and out of its
connector and remove it from the system.
5. Lift the PCIe x1 expansion card (if any) up and out of its connector and remove it
from the system.
