Power LED Light Status Power State
Power is off or the system is in an S4 (hibernate)
or S5 (Powered Off) power state. LED is blank.
The computer is in power-on state.
The system board cannot start initialization. There
may be an issue with the system board, memory,
processor or the power supply.
The system board cannot start initialization or in
an S3 (Sleep state) power state. There is a power
problem, a device may be malfunctioning or
incorrectly installed.
Diagnostic Error Messages
If the computer has an issue or error, it may display a System Message that will
help the user identify the cause and action needed to resolve the issue. If the
message received is not listed in the following examples, see the
documentation for either the operating system or the program that was running
when the message appeared.
