This section will focus on optimising the DP-777 but please also refer to Section 5 for optimisation of the Compu-
ter Audio Source “CAS”.
3.1 Power On/Off
Use the POWER rocker switch (R10) at the rear of the DP-777 to switch mains power ON/OFF.
Always wait at least 30 seconds before switching on again. This is to enable the circuits in the DP-777 to shut-
down properly.
The display will light up to indicate the unit is switched on and ready for use. This should take just under 1 minute
as the DP-777 is warming up.
3.2 Standby
After start-up, pressing the STANDBY button on either the front panel (F1) or the RC-707 (RD1), will place the
DP-777 in STANDBY mode.
3.3 Connection and Playback
Once the CAS/CD Transport has been connected to the DP-777 via any one of the Digital Inputs 1-5, the DP-777
is ready for the playback of music.
