Run a Denaturation and Hybridization Program (Denat & Hyb)
1. Select Run a PGM 2. Select a PGM
n Cursor highlights “Run a
PGM” line
n Press “Enter” button to accept
n Scroll through program
Nos. 1-40/program names
n Press “Enter” button to accept
n Display will confirm PGM No./
name and Denat & Hyb times
and temperatures
n Cursor highlights “Run PGM”
line
n Press “Enter” button to accept
3. Insert Humidity Control Strips and Add Slides 4. Heating to Denat Temp
n Insert two Humidity Control
Strips into the inside slide lid
n Saturate strips with distilled
water or equivalent
n Add slides and close lid
n Cursor highlights “Start” line
n Press “Enter” button to run the
program
n Display indicates present
temperature of the slides
5. Denaturation 6. Cooling to Hyb Temp
n The Hybridizer will beep twice
once temperature reaches
denaturation set point
n Denaturation time will count
down from the set time
n The Hybridizer will
automatically cool to
hybridization set temperature
once denaturation is
completed
7. Hybridization 8. Process Completed
n Hybridization time will count
down from the set time
once temperature reaches
hybridization set point n The Hybridizer will beep
five times upon program
completion
n Cursor highlights “End PGM/
Main Menu”
n Press “Enter” to end program
