A-Frame Hitch (optional)

Refer to Figure 9
31. Attach a-frame hitch

to rear of center frame with 5/

8 x 4 1/32 x 4 1/4 u-bolts

, 5/8 lock washers and 5/8

nuts.

32. Hitch will have either the flex slide assembly

or the

rigid slide assembly

. There will be a 3/4 x 1 1/2 hex

bolt

and 3/4 jam nut in front hole of assembly to

keep the slide assembly from sliding clear out.

33. Tighten all bolts to specs, See “Torque Values

Chart” on page 13.

Heavy Duty Hitch Extension (optional)

Refer to Figure 10
34. Attach extension tubes

to center frame with top

and bottom plates

, middle plate

, secure with 3/

4 x 10 hex bolts, 3/4 lock washers and 3/4 nuts.

35. Attach 51” cross bar

with 5/8 x 4 1/32 x 4 1/4 u-

bolts

, 5/8 lock washers and 5/8 nuts.

36. Tighten all bolts to specs, See “Torque Values

Chart” on page 13.

Completing Setup

37. The SMV sign will be shipped with cardboard.

Remove cardboard before transporting the
machine.

38. Once the options are installed, fold the Ultra-Till to

check for clearance and interferences. Slowly fold
Ultra-Till while watching that hoses and wiring har-
nesses do not become pinched or kinked while
watching for interferences.

Note: Double check that all bolts are tightened to specs,

See “Torque Values Chart” on page 13.Consult
the operating instructions, “Operator’s Manual”,
for the first time field adjustments before going to
the field.
