Before using the RCBS T urret Press , read the instruction man ual carefully to fully learn ho w to safely
operate the related reloading equipment. Failure to proper ly operate cer tain reloading equipment can
result in severe personal injur y and/or equipment damage. If you ha ve read these instructions and still
do not understand some operation, call us at 1-800-533-5000 and a technician will assist y ou.This
instruction man ual contains specific safety and oper ating infor mation.It should be considered a per ma-
nent part of y our reloading equipment and remain with the equipment at all times for easy ref erence.
SAFETY
Reloading is an enjoya ble and re warding hob by that can be conducted safely .But, as with an y hobb y ,
carelessness or negligence can make reloading hazardous .This product has been designed from the
beginning with the user’s saf ety in mind.When reloading, saf ety rules m ust be follo wed. By observing
these rules , the chance of a hazardous occurrence causing personal injury or proper ty damage
is minimized.
GENERAL
•Use all equipment as the man ufacturer recommends .Study the instr uctions carefully and become
thoroughly familiar with the oper ation of the product.If y ou do not have written instr uctions, request a
copy from the equipment man ufacturer .
•Don’t tak e short cuts .Attempting to b ypass established procedures is an in vitation to an accident.
•Obser ve “good housek eeping”in the reloading area. Keep tools and components neat, clean and
orderly .Promptly and completely clean up pr imer and powder spills .
•Reload only when y ou can give y our undivided attention.Do not reload when f atigued or ill, or under
the influence of medications or alcohol.De velop a reloading routine to a void mistak es which may
prove hazardous. Don’t rush - load at a leisurely pace .
•Alw ays w ear adequate eye protection to protect your e yes from flying par ticles.Y ou assume
unnecessary r isk when reloading without wear ing safety glasses .
LOADING DAT A
•Use only labor atory tested reloading data. We highly recommend the current SPEER Reloading
Manual.
•OBSER VE ALL W ARNINGS ABOUT THE USE OF MAXIMUM LISTED LO ADS.
PRIMERS AND POWDER
•Store pr imers and powder be yond the reach of children and a wa y from heat, dampness , open flames and
electrical equipment. Avoid areas where static electr icity is evident.
•Do not use pr imers of unknown identity .Scr ap unknown pr imers in accordance with applicable
regulations.
•K eep primers in the or iginal factor y container until ready to use.Retur n unused pr imers to the same
factor y packaging f or safety and to preser ve their identity .P rimer pac kaging is designed to provide saf e
storage .
•DO NO T store primers in b ulk.The b last of just a fe w hundred primers is sufficient to cause ser ious injury
to anyone nearb y .
•DO NO T force pr imers.Use care in handling pr imers.
•DO NO T have more than one can of powder on the bench at one time .P owder cans should be stored
aw ay from the bench to a void pic king up the wrong one.
•DO NO T use any po wder unless its identity is positively kno wn.The only positiv e identification is the
manuf acturer’s label on the or iginal canister.Discard all mix ed powders and those of uncertain identity .
•If y ou use a powder measure , replace the lids on both the powder hopper and po wder can after the
powder hopper has been filled.
•When using a po wder measure, settle the po wder in the powder hopper bef ore charging any cases .
Throw and chec k the weight of at least ten charges .This will assure y ou that the correct powder charge
is being thrown.
•When y ou finish a reloading session, pour any remaining po wder back into its or iginal factor y container.
This will preserv e the identity and shelf lif e of the powder .
•DO NO T smoke while reloading.
RECORD KEEPING
• Keep complete records of reloads .Apply a descr iptive label to each bo x showing the date produced,
and the primer , powder and b ullet used.Labels f or this purpose are pac ked with SPEER b ullets.
Never attempt to guess at the identity of y our ammunition.
Because RCBS has no control over the choice of components , the manner in
which they are assemb led, the use of this product, or the guns in which the
resulting ammunition ma y be used, we assume no responsibility , e xpressed
or implied, for the use of amm unition reloaded with this product.

Uniflow Powder Measure 09010
Features an adjustable cylinder. Iron and steel construc-
tion ensures long life and accuracy. See photo 10.
Case Activated Linkage Kit 98911
It automatically activates dispensing a charge with every
pull of the handle only when a case is present under the
Uniflow Powder Measure. See photo 11.
Lock Out Die 87540
The Lock-Out Die detects a “no powder” or a
“double charge” condition in the progressive reloading
process. See photo 12.
Powder Checker Die 87590
A simple, effective way to visually check powder charges
before seating a bullet when you use a
progressive press. Shows low and high charges.

Decaps and lubes cases in one step. Eliminates time and

RCBS TURRET PRESS
The new RCBS T urret Press no w gives y ou a choice between single stage or
progressiv e reloading.With Dies pre-set in the turret, y ou can increase your output from 50
to 200 rounds per hour with the turret.Dies can be left in the turret to eliminate teardo wn
and set-up.The T urret handle is also used to remo ve the turret head, eliminating the need
for other tools .The T urret Head e xchanges easily with the removal of one bolt (a 3/4" soc ke t
can be used).This press is co vered b y the RCBS Lif etime W arranty .If it e ver breaks or does-

The RCBS Turret Head mak es it easy to maintain your die set-up
while you change calibers b y using our quic k change turret heads.
RCBS TURRET HEAD
The RCBS Turret Head is made to accept standard 7/8”-14
threaded reloading dies, with no b ushings or adapters required.
The dies and/or RCBS Uniflow P owder Measure can no w be
mounted.The instr uctions for the use and set-up of the reloading
dies and other accessories come pac kaged with these items.Y ou
will find through exper imentation that many m ultiple combinations
can be obtained in the mounting sequence of dies and powder measures ,
permitting tw o or more calibers to be set up at the same time.
