3.4 Connecting the Dosino to the inline filter
Required accessories ￭ Inline filter (6.2821.120)
￭ Capillary (6.1803.030)
￭ Pressure screws (6.2744.070)
￭ Coupling M6 / UNF (6.2744.080)
￭ Capillary cutter (6.2621.080)
1 ￭ Tighten the coupling to Port 1 of the Dosino.
2 ￭ Cut off a piece of the capillary that is approx. 30 cm long using
the capillary cutter.
The capillary must be long enough to stretch from the Dosino to
the inline filter with the Dosino and the Dosino holder attached to
the ion chromatograph. However, ensure that the capillary is not
too long in order to avoid dead volume.
3 ￭ Unscrew the stopper from the inlet of the inline filter.
￭ Tighten one end of the capillary to the inlet of the inline filter
using a pressure screw.
￭ Tighten the other end of the capillary to the coupling using a
pressure screw.
