Introduction
The vDOUBLER-SPL is electrically compatible with all common 7.2V Li-Ion camera batteries. The modular
design allows for different battery models to be used when the appropriate adapter plate is fitted. With the
appropriate power cord, the vDOUBLER-SPL can power a monitor, camera or any other device using 12V
DC power.
Batteries
The vD-SPL adapter accepts Sony L/M (VX2xx or similar), Panasonic
DVX100/HVX200/HPX170/HMC150, and Canon BPxx (XL/GL) style batteries. The adapter must be
configured with the appropriate plate to match the battery style.
Operation
Mount a fully charged battery on the vD-SPL adapter. The LED will illuminate. Connect the DC cable to
your device.
Status LEDs
1. Green ON
Battery is fully charged
2. LED blinking 3 times
Battery is approximately at 3/4 charge level or less
3. LED blinking 2 times
Battery is approximately at 1/2 charge level or less
3. LED blinking 1 times
Battery is approximately at 1/4 charge level or less
4. LED strobs
Battery is discharged
* To extend batteries service life avoid running them down to below 1/4 level
