Always follow your eye care professional’s instructions. Based

your eye care professional may recommend additional products

or procedures.
Always follow the instructions for use and allow to soak for at

least 4 hours. Do not rinse lenses with PeroxiClear before

inserting in eyes, or burning and stinging will result. If you

accidentally get unneutralized PeroxiClear in your eyes, remove

lenses immediately and flush eyes with large amounts of water or

sterile saline. If burning or irritation continues, seek help from an

eye care professional.
If not wearing contact lenses immediately, store in unopened

lens case. Do not store your lenses in saline, as saline will not

disinfect.
You may store your lenses for a maximum of 7 days in the

unopened lens case. If stored longer than 7 days before wear,

you must repeat the cleaning and disinfecting cycle prior to

wearing your lenses.
Contents: 3% hydrogen peroxide with a phosphonic acid

stabilizer, potassium chloride, propylene glycol, carbamide,

poloxamer 181, citrate and phosphate buffers.
Actions: When PeroxiClear is added to the special lens case, the

neutralizing disc causes a distinctive fizzing action, effectively

cleaning, disinfecting, and removing protein from all soft contact

lenses. After four (4) hours the peroxide solution is completely

neutralized into a preservative free saline solution and your

lenses are ready to use.
Indications (Uses):

Bausch + Lomb PeroxiClear™ 3% Hydrogen Peroxide Cleaning

and Disinfecting Solution is indicated for the daily cleaning,

removal of protein deposits, disinfection, and storage of soft

(hydrophilic) contact lenses (including silicone hydrogel) and

rigid gas permeable contact lenses, as recommended by your

eye care practitioner.
Contraindications (Reasons Not To Use):

There are no known contraindications for use of Bausch + Lomb

PeroxiClear™ 3% Hydrogen Peroxide Cleaning and Disinfecting

Solution. However, if you are allergic to any ingredient in this

product, do not use.

WARNING: PROBLEMS WITH CONTACT LENSES AND

LENS CARE PRODUCTS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS

INJURY TO THE EYE.
It is essential that you follow your eye care professional’s

directions and all labeling instructions for proper use and

care of your lenses and lens care products, including the

lens case. Eye problems, including corneal ulcers, can

develop rapidly and lead to loss of vision. Daily wear

lenses are not indicated for overnight wear and should not

be worn while sleeping. Clinical studies have shown the

risk of serious adverse reactions is increased when these

lenses are worn overnight. Extended wear lenses should

be regularly removed for cleaning and disinfection or for

disposal and replacement on the schedule prescribed by

your eye care professional. Clinical studies have shown

that there is an increased incidence of serious adverse

reactions in extended wear contact lens users as compared

to daily wear contact lens users. Studies have also shown

that the risk of serious adverse reactions increases the

longer extended wear lenses are worn before removal for

cleaning and disinfection or for disposal and replacement.

Studies have also shown that smokers have a higher

incidence of adverse reactions. If you experience eye

discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness of

the eye, immediately remove your lenses and promptly

contact your eye care professional. It is recommended that

contact lens wearers see their eye care professional twice

each year, or if directed, more frequently.
Failure to discard solution from lens case after each use

or use of water to care for your lenses may lead to

contamination resulting in eye infection, eye injury, and

potential loss of vision.
Important Safety Information:

• Always follow the product directions for use. Failure to

follow product directions may lead to vision loss.

• Always use the enclosed special lens case and

neutralizing disc with PeroxiClear™.

• Do not insert PeroxiClear™ solution, or the lens, directly

into the eye until complete neutralization of the solution

has occurred (minimum 4 hours).

• Do not rinse lenses with PeroxiClear™ solution prior to

inserting lenses into your eyes. If desired, each side of the

lens may be rinsed for 5 seconds (for a total of 10

seconds) with a sterile saline prior to inserting.

• Visit your eye care professional regularly.
• Always wash and dry hands thoroughly before handling

lenses.

• Do not use tap water, bottled water, or saliva with lenses

or lens case.

• Only use fresh solution to clean and disinfect contact

lenses. Do not reuse or “top off” old solution in your lens

case.

• Always discard any remaining solution in your lens case

after each disinfection cycle.

• Saline or rewetting drops will not disinfect your lenses.
• Always replace your solutions, lenses, and lens case as

directed.

• To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to

any surface. Replace cap after using.

• Not for use with heat (thermal) disinfection.
Precautions:

• Always discard solution from lens case after each use.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
• Store solution at room temperature. Do not freeze.
• Use before the expiration date marked on the carton and

bottle.

• Discard bottle and lens case 90 days after opening or after

35 uses, whichever occurs first.

• Keep out of reach of children.
Do not mix or substitute other lens care hydrogen peroxide

products or lens cases. Do not use any other disinfection

solutions in the lens case. DO NOT USE OVER-THE-COUNTER

GENERIC HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. Generic hydrogen peroxide

solutions are not intended for ophthalmic use and may contain

ingredients not tested for ocular safety or toxicity. Generic

hydrogen peroxide may contain ingredients that cause

DISCOLORATION OR DAMAGE YOUR CONTACT LENSES.
Adverse Reactions (Problems and What To Do): The

following problems may occur: eyes sting, burn or itch

(irritation), comfort is less than when lens was first placed on

the eye, feeling of something in the eye (foreign body,

scratched area), excessive watering (tearing) of the eye,

unusual eye secretions, redness of the eye, reduced sharpness

of vision (poor visual acuity), blurred vision, rainbows or halos

around objects, sensitivity to light (photophobia), or dry eyes.
If you notice any of the above:

IMMEDIATELY remove your lenses.

• If the discomfort or problem stops, then look closely at the

lens. If the lens is in any way damaged, do not put the lens

back on your eye. Place the lens in the storage case and

contact your eye care professional.

• If the lenses appear to be undamaged, repeat the cleaning

and disinfection process and reinsert them.

• If the lens has dirt, an eyelash, or other foreign body on it, or

the problem stops and the lens appears undamaged, clean

them again by repeating the instructions for usage to

thoroughly clean, rinse, and disinfect the lens.

• If the problem continues, immediately remove the lens and

consult your eye care professional.

If any of the above symptoms occur, a serious condition such as

infection, corneal ulcer, neovascularization or iritis may be

present. Seek immediate professional identification of the

problem and prompt treatment to avoid serious eye damage.
Good Lens Care Hygiene:

• Always wash, rinse, and thoroughly dry your hands before

you handle your lenses.

• Clean, rinse, and disinfect your lenses each time you remove

them.

• Always handle the same lens, the right or the left, first in

order to avoid mix-ups.

• After use, always empty and rinse the lens case with fresh

PeroxiClear and allow to air dry.
