1. Use FK2001081 and FK2001106 assembly drawings for assistance.

2. Dismount the foldhead guards.

3. Dismount the register from the foldhead and attach the register plates

(FK0001335 & FK0001349) to the register frames using the hardware in-
cluded in the kit (4-M8X14 dowel pins, 4-M8 lock washers, and 4-M8x18
socket head screws).

4. Remove the safety guard (FK0001355) mounted on the inside of the

foldhead frame on the operator side of the machine (see FK2001106 as-
sembly drawing) and replace with the safety guard (FK0001351) included in
the kit using 2-M6x10 button head screws.
Note: The safety guard is only used on the Parallel Foldhead.

5. Mount the register.

6. Mount the pre-slitter shafts, guarding, and adjustments according to the

assembly drawing FK2001081.

7. Mount the new drive belt (FK7000942) to the register and foldhead.

8. Mount the side register guard (FK0001332) included in the kit.

9. The side cutouts in the foldhead guards will have to be cut in the upward

direction for clearance of the new side register guard and register frame
plates.

After the register is attached to the foldhead and the side register

guard and foldhead guards are in place, cut the foam (FK0001268) to cover
any gaps on the side of the foldhead guards.
