The degree of soiling was higher than estimated. Select suitable program
or
Power wash as an additional option.
Not enough detergent. Add detergent according to the manufacturer's
specifications.
Detergent residue on the
laundry. Some phosphateĆfree detergents contain waterĆinsoluble
residues that may appear as light spots on the laundry. Brush off spots when laundry is dry.
Gray residue on the
laundry. Dirt accumulation from ointments, fats or oils. Add the maximum amount of detergent and select the
highest permissible temperature.
System shakes or shudders
when passing from lower to
higher speed spinning. Drum system suspension can shift during speed up, this
is not a failure. Mix small and large laundry pieces in load to minimize
this effect.

Possible cause Action
"Water tap closed?" Water taps not turned on. Turn on water tap. Program continues. "Water tap closed?"
Supply hose kinked or trapped. Eliminate the cause.
Strainer in supply hose clogged. Clean the water inlet strainers; see Page 27.
Water pressure too low. Eliminate the cause.
"Suds or blocked
pump?" Suds or pump is blocked. Use less detergent for future wash loads. Detergents
specifically designed for your High Efficientcy washer
produce fewer suds and will include the letters HE" on the
packaging.Clean the water drainage pipe and/or drain hose.
"Check Door!" Door not closed properly. Check whether laundry is trapped in door.
Close the door.
If the fault cannot be eliminated with the aid of the above table, switch the appliance off, wait 5 seconds, switch the appliance on
again, select and start the program.
