Troubleshooting
Before calling for assistance or service, please check this Trouble-
shooting
section. It may save you the cost of a service call. If you
still need help, follow the instructions below.

Problem Cause
Solution
Cooling func-
tion does not
work.
Loose contact be-
tween plug and unit
socket.
Plug firmly into unit socket and
cigarette lighter.
Power voltage is out
of range.
Check whether unit is plugged
into power supply of 12V or
24V; be sure battery charge is
not too low or too high.
The temperature
sensor is mal-
functioning.
Contact a local repair center to
replace temperature sensor.
A fan motor does not
work.
Contact a local repair center to
replace fan motor.
Unit is exposed to
direct sunlight.
Place unit in a cool, shady place
with good airflow.
Ventilator or fan pro-
peller is blocked.
Clean ventilator and fan propel-
ler; make sure unit has good
ventilation.
There is a
strange noise
or vibration
during opera-
tion.
Unit is mal-
functioning.
To prevent breakdown, turn the
unit off immediately and unplug
it from power source. Contact a
local repair center.
There is a
burning smell or
the case is
deformed.
