5.5.Mechanical adjustment of the spreading quantity and width
The spreading quantity may be adjusted by moving the flow door (pair of levers) on a
scale of 0 to 13. The flow doors open and close in the hopper accordingly (also see 5.4.
Adjustment of quantity and limit of spreading).
The spreading width is adjusted by the mechanical raising and lowering of the spreading
width reducer (also see 5.4 Spreading width reducer).
5.6.Remote hydraulic control
Using the remote hydraulic control. (standard)
The flow doors may be opened and closed from the cab (also see 5.4 Adjustment of
quantity and limit of spreading).
5.7.Remote electrical control
Using the remote electrical control depending on the speed (optional), the spreading
quantity may be adjusted from the driver’s cab. The flow doors may be opened or closed
from the cab (also see 5.4 Adjustment of quantity and limit of spreading).
5.8.Electrical adjustment of the spreading quantity depending on the speed
The basic function is similar to that of the remote electrical control. The driver may also
enter the spreading quantity Y for a defined speed X into the control equipment. Once
this is done, the spreading quantity is adapted automatically, but the driver can change it
at any time if required.
When stopped: The flow doors close automatically
When moving: The flow doors open according to the setting chosen
If the speed is modified:
The spreading quantity is adapted automatically to the
speed of travel.
