2.4.Description of the RS centrifugal spreader
The SULKY RS centrifugal spreader is designed for spreading products that flow freely
such as gravel, sand or salt on roads and pathways.
An articulated shaft or the hydraulic system of the tractor vehicle drives the agitators.
The SULKY RS centrifugal spreader is delivered with the following standard equipment:
- Spreader with Cat. I or II 3-point linkage or with an additional truck for a fixed moun-
ting
- Protective grid
- Agitator
- Universal joint
- Gear unit with treated conical bearings
- Spreading width reducer
- Reflector
- Lighting support
- Anti-rust treatment and high quality paint (orange = RAL 2004, grey = RAL 7021)
- Upper yoke
- Lower linkage eyebolt
The following parts may be delivered as accessories:
- Mixer (agitator)
- Hydraulic drive
- Hopper cover
- 3-chamber rear tail light
- Guard to protect the tow unit
- Remote hydraulic control
- Remote electrical control
- Adjustment of the spreading quantity depending on the speed
- Reflective signalling plates
