Bar outgoing calls:
• Press / to make your selection
from the menu items and press OK:
”International"
– No calls can be made outside of the
country.
“Internation. except home”
– No calls can be made outside of the
country.
If you are in a foreign country, you
can place calls to your home coun-
try.
“all calls”
– You cannot make any calls. It is still
possible to make emergency calls.
“no barring”
– All restrictions on outgoing calls
have been removed.
Bar incoming calls:
• Press / to make your selection
from the menu items and press OK:
”By roaming"
– If you are in a foreign country, you
cannot receive any calls.
“Bar all”
– You cannot receive any calls.
“No barring”
– All restrictions on incoming calls
have been removed.
Change password:
– You can alter the password required to
operate network barring.
Phone lock
You can prevent your telephone from being
used by unauthorised persons. If necessary,

press OK.
• Press / to make your selection
from the menu items:
“No restriction”

All restrictions are removed.
“Dialling not possible”

Only emergency calls can be made.
“One-touch dial only”

You can only call the one-touch dial-
ling telephone numbers stored on keys
1 to 9 and the SIM card.
“Speed/touch dial only”

All of the telephone numbers stored (in
the phone and on the SIM card) can be
dialled.
• Confirm your selection by pressing
OK.
• Enter your access code and press
OK.
• Press << / >> to switch the function
on/off and press OK.
Fixed dial numbers
This menu item will not appear unless the
SIM card supports it.
You can limit the use of the telephone to
certain numbers (fixed phone numbers). You
can store these on the SIM card.
