NOTE: Outerwear filter is intended for S&S® Bobber and Muscle style air
cleaner covers.
INSTALLATION
1. Remove metal cover from S&S® Stealth air cleaner kit.
2. Remove air filter element and stinger cone by removing the two ¼"
x 20 button head screws in Bobber air cleaners or the ¼" x 20 studs
in Muscle air cleaners.
3. Wrap pre-filter over the filter element. The pre-filter should be
installed so the S&S logo can be read as illustrated in Picture 1.
4. Make sure the elastic is pulled around the filter sealing bead as
illustrated in Picture 2.
5. Install the plastic stinger cone back into the filter under the pre-filter,
as illustrated in Picture 3.
6. Install filter element and stinger cone back onto air cleaner assembly
using the two button head screws with Bobber covers or studs with
Muscle covers. Use blue thread sealer, and torque to 72 in.lbs.
7. Install air cleaner cover.
