Plus engines may exhibit a small amount of oil seepage from the front upper

crankcase assembly bolt area during the cool down period—after the engine has been run at extremely high temperatures (i.e. parade
duty or excessive high-speed usage).

S&S

®

Cycle has developed a simple repair kit for this issue utilizing part number 50-8063-S that will work on engines using either chrome

or standard assembly hardware.

Be sure to disconnect the battery to prevent accidental starting during repairs.

Your engine should be cool to the touch to perform this Service Bulletin.

The kit for this update is P/N 50-8063-S. It will work with both chrome and standard assembly bolts.

Remove the front upper case assembly bolt and washer as shown. Use a spray cleaner like brake or carburetor cleaner to remove
any residual oil seepage from the case and threads. NOTE: Primary is removed for photo purposes only. It is not necessary to remove
the primary for this update.
