Excessive valve stem protrusion or tolerance stack ups could cause the rocker arms to contact the ribs on the underside of the rocker
cover on T-series engines. See Fig. 2. We recommend removing material from the rocker cover (See Fig. 3, next page) before installation
to ensure that contact does not occur after initial installation or as mileage accumulates.
