Open the crate, remove the liner and base from the crate.

Before installing the motor to the base board remove
the two front engine mount nuts. After the motor is set
in place use the nuts that were removed to hold the
front motor mount. Line up the rear of the motor and
install the supplied bolts to the rear of the motor,
making sure that you use three washers on each of the
rear bolts.

After the motor is secured to the base, place the motor
and base into the crate. Install the box liner with the
notches facing the top of the crate. The 2" x 4" x 20

board should go across the top of the box above the
motor and be secured with nails, screws, or staples to the
sides of the crate.

Extra parts to be shipped along with the engine should
be boxed and placed in the crate beside the motor.
Anything placed in the crate must be secured so no
damage occurs during shipping.

When closing up the crate secure the lid to the 2" x 4" that
runs across the top with nails, screws, or staples. Use tape
to secure the top flaps.

Using good judgment will avoid damage to your
motor and parts during shipping. If you have any
questions about proper packaging call the tech line at
608-627-TECH (8324).
