BIKE PREP:
STEP 2
Remove the main fuse; refer to your service manual for specific instructions.
STEP 3
Remove and disconnect the headlamp; refer to your service manual for specific instructions.
Proceed onto the model specific installation instructions below.
INSTALLATION (EXCEPT FLHR/C):
STEP 4
Refer to PIC 1. Apply some of the included dielectric grease to the open ends of the connectors.
Connect the new 4-pin adapter to the existing 4-pin connector.
STEP 5
Connect the new 3-pin connector to the new headlight.
STEP 6
Reinstall the main fuse; turn the ignition on and ensure proper headlight function before installa-
tion.
STEP 7
Install the new headlight.
STEP 8
Ensure proper function of ALL lights BEFORE operating the motorcycle.
FLHR/C INSTALLATION:
STEP 9
Cut the existing headlight connectors off of the bike. Refer to PIC 1. Cut the 4-pin connector off
of the new Adapter Harness. Discard the 4-pin connector; it will not be used.
STEP 10
Strip the wires; use the included butt connectors to connect the matching color wires. The blue
wire will not be used; wrap it with electrical tape to insulate it. Connect both black wires from
the bike to the one black wire on the Harness; use an included Large Butt Connector.
STEP 11
Reinstall the headlight; reinstall the main fuse.
STEP 12
Ensure proper function of ALL lights BEFORE operating the motorcycle.

(including pre-assembled) are tightened before operation of the motorcy-
cle. Küryakyn will not provide warranty coverage on products or compo-
nents lost due to improper installation or lack of maintenance. Periodic in-
spection and maintenance are required on all fasteners.
