STEP 2
After choosing a location, if you choose to hide the power wire, drill a 3/16” diameter wire access
hole in the center of the mounting location. Clean the mounting area.
CAUTION!
MEASURE TWICE – DRILL ONCE. Double check all reference marks made
on the mounting location BEFORE drilling. Kuryakyn will not be responsible for
incidental or consequential damages resulting from this installation
STEP 3
Feed the wire through the access hole, then peel off the adhesive backing and stick the gauge into
position.
ATTENTION!
Ensure the area of installation is free of grease, oil, dirt or other debris to ensure proper
adhesion. Küryakyn WILL NOT issue a warranty on any parts lost due to improper
installation.
ATTENTION!
The adhesive will not bond correctly if applied at temperatures less than 50°F. Do not
attempt this installation in temperatures less than 50°F.
STEP 4
Find a power lead. After confirming with a test light that it is only “on” when the ignition key is on,
attach the red wire to the power lead.
STEP 5
Find a good circuit ground wire and attach the black wire from the gauge to the ground wire.
STEP 6
Carefully insulate all connections.
ATTENTION! Secure all wiring away from any moving parts, pinch points or extreme heat. Küryakyn
WILL NOT issue a warranty on any electrical component that fails due to pinched,
crimped, broken, abraded, melted or frayed wires.
