note The four “D” Spring Washers have been included for use when the existing footpeg is
missing the stock return spring.
Install the “D” Spring Washers on either side of the Splined Adapter Mount with the flat of
the “D” facing inboard.
steP 4 Install the Splined Adapter Mount as you would the existing footpeg. Ensure that the the
squared off end of the Adapter Mount is on the bottom when installed. Ensure that the curved end of the
spring locates over the Splined Adapter Mount as shown in PIC.1.
steP 5 Install the hardware in the reverse order it was removed in STEP 2.
note Push down on the spring to install the pivot pin.
ATTENTION! It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners (including pre-assembled)
are tightened before operation of the motorcycle. Küryakyn will not warranty components
lost due to improper installation. Periodic maintenance may be required.
steP 6 Repeat STEP 2 through STEP 5 for the other side.
steP 8 Use the instructions included with the new footboards/footpegs to complete
the installation.
