STEP 4 Place a dab of grease in the hole of one of the adapters. This will help hold
the spring and ball in place. Place a spring first, then a ball in this hole.

STEP 5 Place flat edge of one of the included Detent Plates into the stock footpeg
clevis so the flat edge is closest to the motorcycle. The two holes in the
Detent Plate will need to be along the top edge. This will allow the Detent
Ball to engage one of the holes when in the up or down position. FIG 1
STEP 6 Slide the footpeg adapter into the clevis. PIC 1 It may take a little force to
do this. Secure the adapter in the clevis using the stock pivot pin or you
may use the included Button Socket Cap Screw.
NOTE: Make sure the Detent Spring, Ball and Plate do not move out
of position when installing the adapter.
STEP 7
Replace the small washer and cotter pin, if using the stock pivot
pin, or install the included Nylock Nut if using the included Button
Socket Cap Screw. Tighten securely.
STEP 8 Fold the footpeg adapter to the up and down positions to ensure
the Detent Ball is engaging the holes in the Detent Plate properly.
STEP 9 Install your choice of Kuryakyn Footpeg to the adapter. Position the footpeg to the desired
position and tighten the center fastener securely.
STEP 10 Repeat for the other side.

CLEARANCE WHEN CORNERING.
ATTENTION!
It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners (including
pre-assembled) are tightened before operation of the motorcycle. Küryakyn will
not issue a warranty on components lost due to improper installation. Periodic
maintenance may be required.
