Avoid damage to the motorcycle. Protect painted surfaces with a soft cloth or
blanket.
It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that there is adequate clearance
between the Drink Holder and any painted surfaces. Küryakyn is not responsible
for any damage due to inadequate clearance.
Be aware of any cables/wires that could potentially be pinched or crushed while
using this product.
STEP 2
Determine a suitable mounting location for the Drink Holder. Ensure that the mounting location
will not interfere with the normal operation of the motorcycle.
NOTE:
The clamp may be fit with the pivot hole above or below the handlebar depending on
clearance.
IMPROPER INSTALLATION OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT COULD RESULT IN
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
STEP 3
Remove the two screws in the Handlebar Clamp.
Determine the mounting location and orientation of the Drink
Holder before fully tightening the two screws. The clamp
may leave marks on the handlebar when tightened down.
STEP 4
Hold the clamp halves together on the handlebars in the desired location.
Apply Anti-Seize to the threads and re-install the two screws from
STEP 3; leave the screws finger tight for now.
STEP 5
As Shown in PIC 1, insert the threaded stud of the Drink Holder Basket
into the Clamp. Place one Shim and 5/16" Split Lock Washer to the stud,
secure with the Thumb Nut.
NOTE:
Apply Anti-Seize on the threaded stud.
STEP 6 Once you have the Drink Holder in the desired position, ensure that it will not interfere with the
proper operation of the motorcycle by turning the handlebars to their full stop positions in both
directions.
ENSURE THAT THERE IS CLEARANCE AT ALL POINTS WHEN THE
HANDLEBARS ARE TURNED, INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE MAY CAUSE
DAMAGE TO THE MOTORCYCLE OR CAN CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL THAT
COULD RESULT IN SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH.
STEP 7
Tighten all hardware.
