INSTALLATION
STEP 2 Assemble the wiring and lights “on the bench” according to your plan. Use dielectric
grease on all connections. Make sure the red wire of each extension lead lines up with the red
wire on Lizard Light. The controller has two output leads; you may use either one or both, it is not
necessary to make a complete “loop” with the layout.
STEP 3 Carefully lay out the assembly close enough to the bike to make the connections to the
battery. Black is negative, red is positive. Test the system to ensure all Lizard Lights illuminate and
flash before installation.
STEP 4 Using the supplied alcohol pads, thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces for the lights
and the switch. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
STEP 5 Affix the components starting with the controller, then the light closest to the controller
etc...
STEP 6 Hide the mounting wires so they will not be visible. Nylon cable ties will be useful here.
OPERATION
Seven Color Lizard Lights draw very little current — they may be operated for short periods of time
without the bike running providing the battery is in good condition and fully charged.
The controller has a rheostat, a toggle switch, and a push button.
• Use the toggle switch to select “STEADY ON” or “FLASH” modes or to turn the lights “OFF”.
• The push button allows the user to select the color they wish to illuminate. There are eight
possibilities. The first seven options select an individual color. The eighth option is called “PAINT
MODE” which continuously cycles the
lights through all seven colors. The color
sequence is as follows:
1. Red
2. Lime
3. Ice White
4. Sky Blue
5. Dark Blue
6. Purple (Violet)
7. Green
8. Paint Mode (Continuously
cycles through all seven colors)
• The rheostat varies the flash rate when
illuminating a specific color in “FLASH”
mode or varies the rate at which the
lights cycle through all seven colors if
“PAINT MODE” is selected.
