WINDSHIELD TRIM for INDIAN CHIEFTAIN INSTALLATION
Ride On!
Avoid damage to the motorcycle. Protect painted surfaces
with a soft cloth or service cover.
STEP 2 Refer to PIC 1. Using warm soapy water and a clean rag,
remove all dirt and debris from the installation area; allow
the area to dry completely. Wipe the installation area with
the included alcohol pad to remove any wax or polish; al-
low the area to dry completely.
STEP 3 Position the Right Windshield Trim as shown in PIC 2. Use
masking tape to make alignment marks; remove the Right
Windshield Trim. Refer to PIC 3. Repeat for the Left Wind-
shield Trim.
TIP: Ensure that the Left and Right Trim do not
overlap each other in the center.
STEP 4
Use your fingernail to rub the adhesive backing on both Trim pieces; this will activate the adhesive.
Remove and discard the backing.
STEP 5 Using the marks made in STEP 3 align the Right Windshield Trim and press it into place for one
minute; full bonding will occur after 24 hours. Repeat for the Left Trim.
STEP 6
Test fit the Center Trim over the seam between the Left and Right Trim pieces. Remove any finger-
prints with the included alcohol pad; allow the area to dry completely.
TIP: Refer to PIC 5. Use the center line between the center windshield screw and the
chrome fairing trim to align the Center Trim piece.
Prepare the adhesive backing, then press the Center Trim into place. Remove and discard the mask-
ing tape.
