STEP 27
Place a small amount of dielectric grease on the female T-Tap connectors; insert
the insulated male spade connectors from the BLACK wires into the female T-Tap
connectors that were installed on the BLACK wire, the insulated male spade
connectors from the RED wires to the female T-Taps on the RED or RED WITH
YELLOW STRIPE wire and the insulated male spade connectors on the BLUE
wires to the female T-Taps on the BLUE wire in the taillight harness. Use the
included cable ties to secure the excess wiring out of harms way.

STEP 29
Start the motorcycle and test to make sure that the lights function as both running lights and
brake
lights.
ENSURE PROPER LIGHT OPERATION BEFORE RIDING THE MOTORCYCLE.
VISIBILITY IS A MAJOR CONCERN FOR MOTORCYCLISTS. A LIGHT
MALFUNCTION COULD RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
STEP 30
Place the warning stickers on the inside of the bags as shown in PIC 15 to serve as
a reminder to prevent the wires from being damaged when the saddlebags are
removed from the motorcycle.
STEP 31
Replace the seat.
AFTER INSTALLING THE SEAT, PULL UP ON IT TO ENSURE IT IS LOCKED
INTO PLACE. A LOOSE SEAT CAN SHIFT AND CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL
RESULTING IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
