head pipes. Make sure the mufflers go onto the head pipe past the ends of the expansion
slots, the threaded weldment faces up and the dent at the top of the muffler is on the
inside of the muffler to clear the axle. PIC 3

It is the end user’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners (including pre‐
assembled) are tightened before operation of the motorcycle. Crusher Perform‐
ance will not provide warranty coverage on products or components lost or dam‐
aged due to improper installation or lack of maintenance. Periodic inspection and
maintenance are required on all fasteners.
The installation of any high performance exhaust system can cause a “lean” fuel/
air mixture. A “lean” fuel/air mixture can cause engine overheating resulting in
severe engine damage. Küryakyn recommends having carbureted bikes rejetted
and fuel injected bikes tuned with a TTS MasterTune tuning system (calibrations
available at www.kuryakyn.com), Vance & Hines Fuel Pak , or by an experienced
tuner on a dyno with an exhaust gas analyzer.
KURYAKYN DOES NOT WARRANTY ANY CHROME EXHAUST PRODUCTS AGAINST
DISCOLORATION! Discoloration is not a defect in chrome. All chrome exhaust sys‐
tems will turn color. Chrome discoloration is a result of heat. The more heat the
chrome is exposed to, the quicker and more severe the discoloration will be.
