11. If the ignition of the flame fails or the red switch light on the control panel fails to light the cause is most likely
due to a loss of airflow, propane tank is empty, or the internal over temperature switch tripped. Examine
system and remove blockage, or fill tank as necessary. Wait for the Heater to purge for 30 to 90 seconds and
attempt to re-ignite the flame. If the Heater fails to re-ignite itself, toggle the heater switch to the “OFF”
position. Unplug the heater from its power source. Recheck all gas and electrical connection and proceed
with step 4 above.
Turn off procedure:
1. SHUT OFF PROPANE AT TANK.
2. When Red switch light goes off, press switches to OFF and AUTO.
3. DO NOT UNPLUG POWER until the heater ON/OFF switch is OFF and heater has completed cool down
cycle.
Features and Warnings:
• Heater will not operate when Blower switch not set to Auto.
• Heater requires proper airflow to operate.
• If air flow is interrupted, remove blockage. Unit will restart automatically.
• If relight fails, proceed with step 5 above
• The Heater will control the UB20 power.
• The Heater is equipped with a Blower switch to provide continuous ventilation. The Heater will not work
while using this feature.
• The hose assembly shall be protected from traffic, building materials and contact with hot surfaces both
during use and while in storage.
• The intended use of this heater is for temporary heating of buildings or structures under construction,
alteration, or repair.
• Use adequate ventilation in area Heater is to be operated to prevent dangerous levels of CO.
• Maintain a clearance of at least 150mm on all sides and keep the top clear.
• Hose connections are Left-hand threaded.
• Ensure all gas hose connections are tight and free from leaks.
• Keep all combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors and liquids away from Heater.
• Inlet gas pressure not to exceed 50mbar. Use 37/50 mbar tank regulator.
• The Heater is not field serviceable. Please contact the factory for service.
• Inspect Heater before each use and annually by a qualified service person.
• Inspect the hose before each use. If there is evidence of damage, contact factory for replacement.
• Use and storage of a propane fueled device and cylinder must comply with local requirements. Supply
propane tank must be kept 3 meters away from Heater.
• Do not direct heated air toward any propane\gas container closer than 6m.
• Supply cylinder must be kept upright to prevent liquid propane from reaching Heater.
