Troubleshooting Guide
Problem Possible Causes
Carrier does not exit at destination • Duct is obstructed
• Duct is not airtight
• Duct length is too long
• Carrier is worn or the wrong size
• Too much tension on blowline
• Too many bends in the conduit
Blowline builds up in duct • Drag plate is not properly set
• Carrier is worn or the wrong size
Unit does not turn on • Blown utility fuse—not rated for 12 amperes
• Blown fuse in Power Dart Blower

NOTE: Each motor has a protective fuse. They are
conveniently located on the front panel’s lower right corner.
1. Use a straight-slot screwdriver to rotate the fuse holder

turn counterclockwise.
2. Pull the fuse holder out and remove the fuse.
3. Insert a new fuse into the holder.
4. Push the fuse holder into its receptacle and rotate it 1 ⁄
4
turn clockwise.
