Radio Data Service (RDS)
Some FM radio stations broadcast Radio Data Service
(RDS) text along with their programs. Station Identification
Text is displayed in the first 8 characters of the lower line.
This text generally does not change. Descriptive Text
is displayed on the top line. This text may describe the
station’s format or it may show the song title and artist.
Choosing Text Displays
The JOG menu has TEXT MODE options that let you
choose between scrolling text display, static text display
or no text display.
