Maintenance of Equipment
1. The black gasket on the culture chamber is a synthetic oxidation resistant
ethylene-propylene rubber. To insure a useful life, apply a tiny amount of high
grade silicone grease from time to time.
2. Wash with mild soap and water. Do NOT use organic solvents to clean chamber.
If absolutely necessary, wipe quickly with 50% EtOH. Good sterile technique is
the key to sterile cultures.
3. Do not autoclave or dry-heat sterilize the apparatus or components.
4. When not in use, store the lid taped to the top of the culture chamber, NOT
clamped to the chamber.
